“Cure sometimes, treat often, comfort always" - Hippocrates
What is general medicine?
In the medical profession, a general practitioner GP is a doctor who treats patients for acute and chronic illnesses using diagnostic measures, pharmaceutical medicines as well as providing health education.
At Infinitive Health Wellness Centre our GP will help to manage your health by taking into consideration the all factors of your life and they are trained to treat patients of any age and sex to different levels of complexity.
The role of a GP can vary greatly from treatment of acute non-life threatening conditions to early detection and referral for specialized care; and allopathic preventative care including regular screening and immunizations.
Australian GP’s have 6 years of university (Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery) and are government registered and government regulated health professionals.
