“Cure sometimes, treat offen, comfort always”
What is psychology?
Psychology is such a broad discipline that it is difficult to cover all of the areas that it encompasses, but matters such as development, personality, thoughts, feelings, emotions, motivations, and social behaviors represent just a portion of what psychology seeks to understand and explain.
As most people already realize, a large part of psychology is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues. At Infinitive Health Wellness Centre our psychologist brings to our team the understanding you need in preventing and relieving psychologically based distress and will promote your well-being and personal development.
What is counselling?
Counselling is a professional service with the aim of fostering wellbeing through personal growth, assisting patients to resolve crises and life problems through personal exchange, developing personal meaning and healing following grief and loss.
Professional counsellors require in depth training and use a range of therapeutic interventions. They work within a clearly contracted, principled relationship that enables individuals to obtain assistance in exploring and resolving issues of a relational or personal nature.
